Eight centuries-old maps for a cartography wall
8 artworks · 16 print files · works out to $3.12 a print
The eight are Waldseemuller's Universalis Cosmographia (1507), Ortelius' Typus Orbis Terrarum (1570), Olaus Magnus' sea-monster Carta Marina (1539), Bunting's cloverleaf world (1581), de' Barbari's bird's-eye Venice (1500), Braun & Hogenberg's London (1572), Turgot's Paris (1739), and a bird's-eye view of New York and Brooklyn. Source scans differ in resolution, so the print guide lists each map's own maximum size instead of one figure for the set.
